About Us

Elm Tree Pre-School Rowledge is now open. We still have spaces available, so please contact us for more information.

Last half term (autumn 1) our focus has been all about me. We have been learning about our feelings and what makes us feel each emotion. We have been exploring different sensory activities including shaving foam, paint, sand and water. We have been making the most of the sunny weather by exploring our outside area and looking for bugs. 

This half term (autumn 2) our focus has been celebrations. We have enjoyed looking at Halloween, fireworks, remembrance Sunday and practicing for our Christmas singing performance. In Literacy we looked at making marks in different ways. In Maths we have been looking at "the Numberblocks" with a focus on counting and matching. We have also enjoyed a variety of crafts including making a pumpkin face, a poppy picture, a Pudsey picture and a range of Christmas crafts!
